Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I become a Mason?
A:The first step is to ask a Mason to become one! If you don't
know a Mason, simply find the Lodge in your area (chances are there will
be one close to your home!) and find out when they hold their meetings.
Drop on by before the meeting, and ask for a petition to join the lodge!
Q: Can anyone become a Mason?
A: No. Masonry is open to all men, of good moral standing, at
least 18 years of age, that believe in a higher power or supreme being.
We do not care about the color of your skin, only the rectitude of your
conduct. We are also open to all faiths. Masonry is not a
religon, nor is it a substitute for one, but we do require faith and
good character. While Masony doesn't accept women or children,
there are other affiliated organizations, such as The Order of the
Eastern Star, Jobs Daughters, Demolay, Rainbow for Girls, etc. that you
are more than welcome to join.
